Dukan Diet - Day 4
Day 4
Morning Weight: 146.8 lbs
As I suspected, yesterday was not good for me. The buttery eggs... the ketchup filled meatloaf... the extra oat bran in the meatloaf... sigh. I’m back up to 146.8. Didn’t go over 147 so I guess I should be happy about that. I knew I wouldn’t lose any weight since I didn’t have to pee during the night or much in the morning. /sigh. Maybe if I make the meatloaf again, I’ll reduce the salt so I don’t retain the water. I need to stick with a stricter diet if I’m going to make 145 by Saturday morning.
I had bought a fruit on the bottom yogurt which is probably bad so I just ate the top. It tasted much better than regular yogurt because I got a little bit of the peach and sugars. Hopefully it wasn’t enough to deter my diet. I bought some low-fat string cheese and ate that with my lunch. I’m downing water like it’s... water. I’ve already hit 50+oz before the end of the work day. Probably for the best since I think Ben wants to go workout tonight. I’ll take it easy since I have no carbs for energy.
I’m feeling good. Not my best but pretty good. I don’t feel bloated or anything which is amazing considering the amount of water I’ve been drinking. It also helps that I have a 23-step staircase to go through every time I need a water refill or to make a bathroom run. I consider that my “20-minute walk for the day” =P My stomach feels like it’s shrinking, if only a little. Usually I feel bloated and fat but not so much these days. I suppose I haven’t been feeding it much fat so that would explain it.
Foods:
breakfast: non-fat Greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom (didn’t eat fruit but had a tiny bit of syrup)
lunch: meatloaf and chicken thigh
snack: string cheese
dinner: leftover steak, chicken thigh or meatloaf
