Dukan Diet - Day 1

Day 1 - 
Morning Weight: 149lbs
I made a bet with Ben last week. I need to get to 145 or else he won’t go to my company picnic this Saturday. I’m feeling down and pessimistic since I haven’t tried much last week.  I always wanted to check out the diet that Kate Middleton did so I proceeded to google and researched it. Obviously most of the sites want you to purchase something for more information so I figured the best way was to just buy the book on amazon and send it to my Kindle app. Luckily I can read it on a browser so I found out that you go through a couple phases. The first phase (my most important phase) is the Attack. You eat only lean meats and cut out most fats, carbs and sugars. Since I researched this at work, I needed to get other foods for lunch. I ran to Meijers and bought some surimi (imitation crab), non-fat Greek yogurt and Oat Bran. Luckily I wasn’t hungry and lasted until lunch time. I scarfed down the package of surimi and it held me over for a while. They say to eat 1.5 tbsp of Oat Bran a day so I mixed that with Greek yogurt. It was tart so I used a Splenda package (which is allowed).

When I went home, I bought some sirloin steaks and threw it on the Foreman Grill. I keep forgetting you’re allowed to season so my steaks were overdone and bland. I alotted myself a little bit of ketchup to help wolf it down. It wasn’t too hard drinking the 48oz of water but I had to go to the bathroom quite often. I decided to drink some of it with my BeneFiber since I heard constipation is a side effect from no veggies.

Foods:
lunch: surimi
snack: plain non-fat Greek yogurt with oat bran
dinner: plain sirloin steaks
