Think...coupon

I've been having breathing problems in my bedroom so I tried giving it a thorough cleaning (vacuuming carpets and vents, washing sheets and blankets...etc). It helped a little but I was so desperate that I turned to an air purifier machine. Expensive... I know.

It's hard to justify these machines because you don't really have something you can measure. But desperate times calls for desperate measures. I was tired of not being able to breathe while trying to sleep.

We did some research and found some good reviews on the Coway Mighty Air Purifier. On Amazon it's about $250. I was going to bite the bullet and purchase it but just for kicks and giggles, I decided to look on Bed Bath and Beyond.

Bed Bath and Beyond also sells it for $250... BUT they have 20% off coupons!! They don't really send these out anymore so you need to sign up for their emails to receive them. Usually it's for online purchases but that's fine because this purifier is online only anyway. Luckily for me, I still had a $50 gift card from a wedding gift so that got my total down to $160! (The website has problems adding the two so I had to online chat with a customer rep to modify my sale).

Moral of the story, if you need something for the house. Check Bed Bath and Beyond first. 20% off something is always a good deal!

 The JR Pass is an option for non-residents of Japan to purchase. Instructions: Purchase the JR Pass before you travel to Japan (It doesn't seem like there's an "official" website as many vendors do sell it. Just do your research to make sure it's legit.
